Meet Carol - Bay Area Professional Photographer and Studio Owner

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Carol is a highly sought-after photographer known not only for her professional, creative images but also for her sparkling personality.  With an uncanny ability to put spouses and children at ease, Carol connects effortlessly with her subjects -- whether in the studio or on location.  Her sincere enthusiasm for photography is contagious and inspiring.

Carol specializes in maternity, newborn, and family portraits, but also offers pet portraits, Quinceañeras, Sweet 16s, and milestone cake smashes -- for all ages.   She aims to build lasting relationships with her clients, working with many families year after year.  Her sessions are tailored to your family's needs -- whether for individuals or large multi-family gatherings.  Carol takes pride in delivering exceptional client experiences by offering an extensive collection of beautiful props, including theme setups, and a maternity gown collection of over 200 options.

In a service not offered by other photographers in the surrounding area, Carol also provides maternity milk baths, "First 48" hospital sessions, and birth photography as unique add-on options, allowing families to preserve intimate, once-in-a-lifetime moments.

Carol didn't know her grandfather had been a professional photographer until she began building her own studio - when a family member shared the surprising connection that only deepened her passion.  Since launching her career in 2015 (as a bride's personal and professional photographer), Carol has evolved her focus. It was during COVID when her camera wasn't in use, that Carol took a step back and realized how there is only so much time before the time is gone to capture all those little moments that mater.  As a single mom, Carol never had the chance to capture the beautiful stages of maternity, newborn or family life and it is something she deeply regrets as those memories only live in her heart.  Now, she is dedicated to giving others the gift of preserving those precious moments, forever by offering various payment plan options.

Carol's team recently expanded to include her daughter-in-law, Nancy, and grand-daughter Rosalynn, who share her contagious passion for photography.  Together, they've developed the business purely through word-of-mouth, now reaching clients throughout the entire Bay Area.

Carol is an independent photographer, and proud member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA). She has trained under renowned photographer Ana Brandt and completed Ana's six-week Baby Belly course and more recently, attended Ana Brandt's World Tour in San Francisco.

Previously, Carol was a featured photographer for Delta Living Magazine, capturing vibrant and diverse stories from all walks of life.  Her portfolio includes both her own original work and carefully curated inspirational images that reflect her artistic vision and areas of specialization.
